Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her first acting role was in 1996's TV movie Her Costly Affair. After that, she was a star as a supporting character in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. This was not easy for Amy since she needed change from modeling to performing. Models aren't considered great actors and so tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy never gave up. Her first big part came from The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead roles in the love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for her work throughout the previous 10 years. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in The Shameless series.
