Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother working. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several television commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. The decade which followed, she moved in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna, who had converted to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows with an Jewish ceremony. Bo's same sex relationship, together with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the top Television Couples. E! named the couple "the top TV Couple" in 2013.
