Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her starring roles in the action spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. Born into an upper middle-class family in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her mother was a film fan and urged her to enjoy films when she was a kid. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular activities in school, but she had an interest in drama. Her favorite part was performing in stage productions together with her fellow students. After performing in several shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program gave her a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. When she finished the assignment in three months the first task was working in the production department for television documentaries. Later, she moved on to producing documentaries. She loved her work, but she still wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Her roles have since been seen in a variety of films and television shows.
